LEO AND GRAVES
Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci was famous for many things during his lifetime, mainly his works and expeditions, but he also was a prolific grave digger. In just about the most illegal way possible, he would dig up carcasses, skeletons, and analyze their structures rigidly to improve the anatomical, and proportional accuracy of his drawings and paintings. Along the way he discovered some things about human bodies that would in addition to helping him make art or simply satisfy his curiosity, prove very useful in medicine as well.
